Block 13 is the designation of the large condominium planned for the block on Bayview Avenue between Front and Mill Streets, directly across from Corktown Common.
The CDNA is in direct communication with developer, the City of Toronto, and Waterfront Toronto, providing the community's guidance and perspective as plans unfold.
Why It’s Important
This block, still in the planning stages, will have a very large impact on the neighbourhood from the moment construction begins. It will be one of the larger buildings in the area, housing an estimated 1,900 people.

The Story
Block 13 is one of the final pieces in the development of the neighbourhood. Like most of the other buildings in the area (anything with the word “Canary” in its name, basically) It is being built by developers Dream and Dundee Kilmer, designed by Henriquez Partners Architects.
The project has been delayed by economic uncertainties, including rising costs and interest rates, but the current plan is for construction to begin at the end of 2025. The size of the project has ballooned to 43 stories at the southwest corner, and now includes more than 1,000 units.
Dream, the developer, has been open and welcoming to community engagement, first through the West Don Lands Committee and now through the CDNA and our neighbours in the Distillery District, the GWNA.
