Port Lands Walking Tour

Sun March 26, 2025 from 10:30am to 12:30pm

Click here to learn more or RSVP

When we posted this tour in December it filled up within 24 hours! RSVP now for this FREE 2-hour guided walk of the Port Lands.

Curious about the Port Lands? You should be! It’s in the process of transforming into a new neighbourhood adjacent to ours, featuring outstanding amenities that we will all get to enjoy. But to get there, the area is undergoing some extreme engineering, performed while preserving aspects of a rich Toronto past.

Suit up in warm clothing to enjoy a 2 hour walk through the heart of the Port Lands, exploring and learning about these extraordinary layers of history and future dreams.

  • FREE
  • Approximately 2 hours
  • Lots of walking
  • Dress warm

WE NEED YOUR BRAIN
(on two new Committees)

Can we borrow your brain? We have two new Standing Committees: one one for Traffic and one for Streetscape, and need 5-7 volunteers for each of them.

Both of these groups will help shape our neighbourhood's future. Here's how:

The Traffic Committee will identify and make recommendations regarding traffic-related issues within and adjacent to our neighbourhood.

The Streetscape Committee will make recommendations regarding maintenance and cleanliness in the public spaces of our neighbourhood.

If either of this issues is important to you, consider volunteering some time and smarts to help our community!

Please reply to this newsletter if interested.

It boasts a series of interconnected outdoor environments that humans, animals, birds and insects can enjoy.

It's also an all-season experience, with new things to see and discover at every time of the year. Come see Corktown Common transformed by winter on an informal walking tour of this beautiful park.
